Position Objective
Acts as a senior lead worker for other employees including training, daily work assignment and review, and input into performance reviews. Coordinates equipment and supply purchase and distribution. Incumbents assist supervisors in the performance of work duties and with special projects and assignments. Incumbents also perform the work of Facilities Services Specialists, Mechanic, and Leads. - Prioritizing and assigning work; project coordination principles and practices.
- Troubleshooting systems related to area of assignment.
- Maintaining and procuring inventory and supplies.
- Performing Multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Coordinating projects; preparing a variety of business documents and forms.
- Facilitating group discussions; analyzing situations to define issues and draw valid conclusions.
- Gathering, collating and/or classifying data; solving problems.
- Interpreting and applying applicable laws, codes and standards.
- Participates in various activities (e.g. meetings, trainings, etc.) for the purpose of receiving and/or conveying information meeting federal and state standards.
- Schedules regular inspections of all buses for the purpose of ensuring compliance with required bus driver review of their bus.
- Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work.
- Working under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods.
- Directing other persons within a department, large work unit, and/or across several small work units.
- Supervise the use of funds.
- Utilization of significant resources from other work units is sometimes required to perform the job’s function.
- Maintain and upkeep of all district vehicles as needed.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
