Entry Production Operator - 3rd Shift

This hourly role follows the Scotts / Hawthorne step pay progression scale and typically starts at $19.65 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts / Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

We are looking for an Entry Production Operator at our Chemical Plant in Marysville, Ohio .

What you'll do in this role :

Perform safety checks of the equipment to ensure it is safe to operate.

Perform daily assignments as directed by team Group Leader or Supervisor

Actively participate in plant cleanliness by restacking, picking-up trash and debris, and washing their equipment

Perform physical inventory counts of finished goods as required

Meet quality and quantity standards

Responsible for the safe operation of the forklift and maintaining fluid levels

Responsible for safely operating packaging and process equipment

What you'll need to be successful :

Experience working shift work in a manufacturing and / or distribution environment

Ability to drive a forklift

Ability to climb on and off of required equipment

Ability to sit or stand for long periods

Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs and meet man-lift requirements

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

Ability to read and write English and / or be able to follow instructions

Must pass the minimum fit for duty physical (annually)
