About The Role
The Electrician performs small to medium sized improvement/repair projects for Scoular’s Goodland Crush facility and ensures that electrical equipment and physical assets are always in safe condition and good working order, as well as oversees new installations of electrical equipment. This position is responsible for leading Scoular employees through non-routine tasks and electrical issues to ensure that Scoular meets safety, compliance, and operational efficiency expectations. Ideally this role would have expertise in programming Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

This position is responsible for leading Scoular employees through non-routine tasks and electrical issues to ensure that Scoular meets safety, compliance, and operational efficiency expectations. Ideally this role would have expertise in programming Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Partner with Scoular asset teams to plan and execute in-house projects and repairs, and coordinate crew member support and scheduling with facility management for project completion and inventory assistance.
- Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams while providing leadership and direction to Construction and Laborer crews regarding non-routine task completion. Inspect and monitor grain asset equipment such as legs, drag, conveyor belts, skid steers, and wheel loaders.
- Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inspections.
- Assist with facility operations as needed.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Programming Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) experience/knowledge.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
