We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting practices, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a mix of technical accounting expertise and executive presence to communicate and collaborate effectively at a high level.
- Contribute to month end closing through journal entry preparation and account reconciliation of key accounts
- Manage the accounting and reconciliation of general corporate accounting processes such as debt, foreign currency, and corporate allocations
- Maintain prepaid and intangible asset account schedules to ensure timely amortization and recognition of expenses in accordance with accounting policies
- Identify opportunities for process and reporting improvements within the newly implemented Workday Financials accounting system
- Foster a positive culture and serve as a role model for junior team members
- Support annual audits by liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Prepare corporate reports as needed for management and regulatory authorities
- Build and nurture relationships with business leaders, acting as a trusted business partner to drive cross-functional collaboration, trust, accountability, and results
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Highly proficient in excel
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- Ability to research and solve complex problems
