About the Position:
SCOUT Select is our made-to-order customization, promotional products, and corporate gifting channel, offering tailored solutions that bring brands to life with SCOUT’s signature style. From premium promotional items to co-branded designs, SCOUT Select delivers high-quality, fully customizable products that make a lasting impact. This role sits within our wholesale division, reporting to the Senior Global Director of Wholesale, and plays a key part in expanding and executing our custom product strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Growth
- Manage the full sales cycle, including forecasting, order management, order entry, order fulfillment, and sell-through reviews
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand SCOUT Select’s presence in the customized product space.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and market research.
- Stay ahead of trends, monitoring competitor activity and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
- Lead tradeshow planning and execution to enhance brand visibility
Client Relationships & Custom Solutions
- Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, understanding their unique needs to create tailored solutions.
- Develop and Conduct engaging sales presentations and product demos that showcase the magic of SCOUT customization.
- Manage client accounts with top-tier service, ensuring seamless communication and a smooth sales experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to inform strategy for impactful campaigns/marketing support.
Product Knowledge & Collaboration
- Become an expert on SCOUT Select’s customizable product offerings, production processes, and industry trends.
- Partner with production and design teams to ensure accurate customization and on-time delivery.
- Develop detailed proposals and pricing structures that align with client expectations and meet margin goals.
Sales Forecasting & Performance Tracking
- Analyze sales metrics and performance data, reporting key insights to leadership.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, implementing data-driven strategies to enhance performance.
- Manage channel P&L
Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
- Proven experience in made-to-order sales, promotional products, or corporate gifting.
- A deep understanding of the customized sales process, from consultation to fulfillment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills—confidence and charisma are a must!
- A knack for building strong client relationships and navigating complex sales cycles.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales management tools.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus!
