What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Tech position at Scout Boats, Inc.?
Our fast growing electrical team is looking for dedicated, hardworking individuals to build our custom wiring harnesses for vessels ranging from 25 to 67 feet.
Job Duties include:
Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions
• Ability to gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner
• Routes wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards
• Numerous hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions
• Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers
• Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures
Wire harness assembly experience highly preferred
Qualification and Skills:
• Motivated and detail oriented
• Attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity
• Proficient in basic math skills
• Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude
Essential Job Functions:
• Ability to stand while working
• Lifting Requirements: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Ability to distinguish colored wires for accurate assembly purposes
