Systems Foreman I – Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise Electricians, Measurement Technicians, and I&E Technicians and provide continued training to personnel
- Provide technical assistance on new and special projects
- Work with accounting and/or operations to monitor all systems to ensure volume accuracy
- Create weekly and/or monthly efficiency reports to better identify and resolve measurement discrepancies
- Evaluate existing equipment and make appropriate recommendations to upgrade production equipment to maximize production and minimize loss
- Oversee contractors to ensure Scout's interests are monitored and contractual, state, and federal requirements are satisfied
- Maintain historic records to trend meter factors and/or other items that could have an impact on production performance
- Track costs to assist Production Foremen with existing and future budgeting issues
- Support all company initiatives and applicable safe work policies and procedures
- Communicate with company and contract personnel, vendors, and regulatory agencies
- Comply with all applicable HSE policies and compliance requirements including PSM and DOT requirements
- Ensure that all required PSM, RMP, OSHA, DOT and Operator qualifications

Education & Qualifications
- Possess a valid driver’s license, CDL a plus (may be required in some locations)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state-certified program
- Certifications from trade schools and/or professional organizations are preferred
- Must be capable and willing to work as required and participate in an on-call rotation
- Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining equipment within oil and gas facilities preferred
- Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50lbs
- Capable of rigorous outdoor activities with physical ability to work extended hours, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, working with arms extended above the head, twisting upper body, standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions, driving a vehicle, operation of forklifts and light industrial equipment
