Scout Pest Control is a fast-growing pest control company serving the Huntsville/Madison/Athens/Decatur areas. We provide our customers with an excellent, reliable, and effective pest control experience. We need a Office Administrator/Customer Relations Specialist who is a great communicator, excellent at managing relationships, attentive to detail, and friendly. You will be interacting with our customers daily and having a friendly, patient, and respectful personality is a must as you are representing our company.
For the right candidate we would consider making this a hybrid position allowing some work from home, after training is completed, and assuming all performance metrics are being met.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, and email, interactions.
- Review paperwork for accuracy and perform data entry.
- Perform collections calls and manage invoicing to current customers.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships to foster customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Retain customers who are considering terminating their services.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Collaborate in person, through messaging, and on the phone with team members to drive overall sales success and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers phone lines.
- Ensures customers enjoy a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
- Performs tasks and enters data in the Pest Control Business Software.
- Assists office manager with duties as needed.
- Assists in saving customers who want to cancel.
- Answers sales line and sells new accounts.
- Upsells additional services to existing customers where appropriate.
- Follows up with customers.
- Assists with ensuring that business functions run smoothly.
- Assists in maintaining a positive working environment.
- Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma.
- At least one year of office environment Customer Service, or one year of Sales Experience Required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary : $16 - $19
