Job Overview
We're seeking a skilled Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at LewisGale Hospital Alleghany. This 70-bed hospital serves patients in both Virginia and West Virginia, offering a range of medical specialties from emergency medicine to general surgery.
Shift Information
- Day Shift: 1 Physician (7a-7p) and Non-Physician Provider Assistant (NPPA) (7a-3p)
- Night Shift: 1 NP/PA with telemedicine backup (7p-7a)
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a collegial work environment
- Collaborate with emergency department physicians managed by SCP's EMR, Meditech
Qualifications
- Full-time position requiring PA-C or ACNP certification
- Minimum 1 year of previous hospital medicine experience required
