Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Hospital Medicine Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct thorough physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements:
- Recent full-time experience as an ACNP or PA (preferred)
- DEA certification (preferred)
- ACNP or PA certification (preferred)
- VA nurse practitioner or physician assistant license (preferred)
Work Environment:
LewisGale Medical Center is a 506-bed facility with a daily census of 150-160 patients. The average daily census per physician is 16-19. We operate on a 7 on/7 off block schedule with 12-hour shifts. Our EMR system is Meditech.
