Job Description:
The F&B Server will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. You will also be expected to upsell additional items or beverages to enhance the dining experience, collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service, and process guest payments accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and seat them according to their preferences.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly, using POS system as necessary.
- Deliver orders to tables, ensuring correct presentation and portioning.
- Upsell additional items or beverages to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing.
- Process guest payments accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns as necessary.
- Clean and maintain the dining area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate and State Alcohol Server Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality and reliability.
