Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement building automation systems (BAS) software solutions
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand system requirement and design specifications
- Program, configure, and integrate BAS controllers, devices, and systems from various manufacturers
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure functionality and performance
- Develop customized graphics and user interfaces for BAS dashboards
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on BAS operations
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience programming and configuring BAS systems, including controllers (e.g., Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls)
- Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks); proficiency in programming languages such as C, C , Python, or Java is a plus
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, lighting controls, access controls, and other building systems integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical Requirements
