Job Summary :
We are excited to add a Marketing Events Intern to the SCRAM Systems marketing team. This unique part-time opportunity will provide insights and hands-on experience to the event marketing process. As a member of the event team, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, execution, and success of marketing operations, including tradeshows, internal, and external events. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a creative approach to marketing events.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Event Planning and Coordination :
Assist in the planning and execution of tradeshows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all event elements align with company goals.
Marketing Operations Support :
Assist in maintaining event marketing materials, such as marketing collateral and giveaways.
Manage event registration processes including conference payment, badging, travel communication, and track pre- and post-conference attendee lists.
Work with other internal departments (sales, accounting, product team) to ensure success of events.
On-Site Event Management :
Provide on-site support (when needed) for regional or national tradeshows and events, including setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting.
Serve as a point of contact for event staff, vendors, and attendees.
Administrative Tasks :
Maintain detailed records of event activities, timelines, and contacts.
Schedule and coordinate meetings with stakeholders and vendors as needed.
Oversee and monitor conference budget expenditures.
Coordinate and maintain internal company employee popup store.
Research new conferences, events, and speaking opportunities
Support the marketing team with additional administrative duties as required.
Work Environment :
- This position is based in the Denver metro area and requires in-office presence for 25 hours per week. This role may occasionally involve lifting and carrying event materials and equipment.
