As the Head of Marketing and Communications for Scramble employed within the Scramble Play Group, you must be friendly, outgoing, and ready to communicate effectively about the wonderful and unique opportunities Scramble provides children and their families to discover better play. Duties & Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive and attractive communications and marketing plan, that will include social media and other channels, to attract, inform, and retain new and existing customers.
- Create communication policies and establish plan for Scramble to follow.
- Create daily and weekly content in multiple formats and measure effectiveness.
- Communicate with guests to maintain Scramble brand and positive image of the business.
- Set goals to track the effectiveness of social media campaigns. Compare performance to similar campaigns to ensure posts are reaching the intended audience.
- Develop and implement social media campaigns as part of the larger Scramble marketing strategy.
- Take photos of guests, play structure and highlighting various business entities of Scramble.
- Communicate with guests (both adults and children) in a polite, positive, engaging, and informed manner.
- Actively engage and promote Scramble events and special deals.
- Participate in relevant staff training sessions and meetings.
- Plan and promote marketing events to boost Scramble current locations and new opening locations.
Qualifications
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service
- Minimum of 3-4 years experience in directing marketing & managing promotions as well as social media marketing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to build relationships with guests, the public, media, and others
- Proficient in business posts on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others.
- Ability to design media content as well as capture and edit photographs.
- Ability to use SEO and web traffic data to improve communication campaigns
- Ability to research buyer and consumer personas as part of developing marketing efforts
- Skill in using social media Key Performance Indicators to monitor the success of communications campaigns
- Proactive, demonstrating the ability to identify, address, and resolve problems as well as suggest improvements
- Organized, responsible and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to commit up to 40 hours of work a week during the hours of 8am to 6pm some weekend projects may be required.
