Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic front of house members to join our dynamic team. As a scramblers employee, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels valued and satisfied during their visit. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food handling safety standards.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately, including handling payments and providing change as needed.
- Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain an organized work area, including restocking supplies as necessary.
- Uphold high standards of customer service throughout the dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a server or guest services role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary terminology is advantageous.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
