Description:
Pompey Automotive Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem.
- Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, using maintenance menus.
- Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for.
- If additional work is needed, explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time.
- Provide estimates for labor and parts.
- Establish time promised.
- Follow-up with the customer’s on the progress of their vehicles
- Be responsible for quality control to ensure that work is completed as requested and to reduce comebacks.
- Interpret warranty information and policies to customers.
- On completion of work, repair orders must be closed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in automotive repair or service writing preferred.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must have great customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- CDK experience highly preferred
Details:
- Monday - Friday / 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Weekly pay plus commission
