Job Summary:
As a Sales and Leasing Consultant at Scranton Motors Vernon, you will be responsible for driving sales and assisting customers in finding the perfect vehicle to meet their needs. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry located in Vernon, Connecticut. Through your exceptional customer service skills, product knowledge, and sales expertise, you will play a crucial role in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and budget in order to recommend the best vehicle options
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive buying experience for all customers
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our products, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages
- Conduct test drives to showcase the capabilities of the vehicles to potential customers
- Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Follow up with potential and existing customers to maintain relationships and secure future sales opportunities
- Utilize various sales techniques, including phone and email communication, prospecting, and networking, to generate leads and grow the customer base
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions and address any objections
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient sales process
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, in the automotive industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Solid understanding of the sales process and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
