A global leading Industrial Services and Metals Recycling Company is seeking an exceptionally strong Maintenance Planner to join their team. Reporting to the Director, Asset Management, the Maintenance Planner will be responsible for working with sites and assisting with maintenance backlog, preventative maintenance, rebuilds and other needs as part of a comprehensive maintenance program.
This is an onsite position housed at one of our east region locations. Must be able to daily commute to either Mingo Junction, OH or Coatesville, PA.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective short and long-term maintenance plans and schedules
- Liaise with operations and maintenance to plan, prioritize and coordinate PMs, corrective actions and resources
- Ensure PM services are scheduled in accordance with the accepted intervals and standards and the work is performed in a timely manner
- Identify resources required for planned tasks, such as parts, tooling, equipment, materials, and work procedures
- Review information from oil samples, component operating hour data, mechanics reports, operating reports and recommended OEM supplier’s component replacement guidelines, to propose and schedule component replacement
- Advise and support maintenance team leaders with data entry, the backlog work orders and work order management
- Continuous improvement related maintenance functions
- Monitor all warranty programs, ensure warranty work is claimed in a timely manner, and all warranty issued are resolved
- Assist in developing critical path plans for major shutdowns in a timely manner
- Participate in regular meetings with the operations team to review daily and weekly work schedules
- Create, maintain and ensure accurate and necessary data is maintained in the ERP system
- Develop and maintain comprehensive performance Dash Boards for each site based on maintenance functions
- Participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues and help implement solutions
- 3-5 years of mobile maintenance planning experience in the scrap and heavy equipment industry. Preferred experience with Front-End Loaders, Haul Trucks, Excavators, Material Handlers and similar
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems and identify potential solutions by thinking outside of the box to deliver alternative outcomes
- Ability to read and understand equipment service manuals required
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, team orientated, work with minimum supervision and lead by example
- Experience with JDE a plus
- Experience developing Excel Spreadsheets for tracking Information, and developing Dashboards
- This role will require time spent on the job site/in the field, and is not strictly an office position
