Position Overview:
As a Line Cook, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our culinary vision. Working under the guidance of our Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes with precision and creativity. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of culinary expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to expedite orders and ensure timely service.
- Assist in the development of new menu items, contributing innovative ideas and techniques.
- Uphold high standards of food presentation, following plating guidelines and artistic principles.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in the ordering and receiving of supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in an upscale dining environment.
- Proficiency in preparing a wide range of culinary techniques and cuisines.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
