We're seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and dependable production supervisor to oversee and coordinate production schedules across multiple manufacturing lines. The primary responsibility of the production supervisor is to guarantee timely delivery and fulfillment of customer orders while meeting quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Enhance production processes to boost efficiencies and effectiveness including maintaining a production schedule.
- Supervise employee and machine resources to meet customer expectations.
- Champion lean manufacturing initiatives as both a team member and leader, offering ongoing support.
- Coordinate workflow to meet specified standards and deadlines.
- Proactively monitor production to address issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to maintain ongoing success in production.
- Monitor production inventories and collaborate with purchasing to uphold production flow.
- Advocate for inventory cycle counts to maintain inventory system accuracy.
- Oversee and actively engage in Health and Safety initiatives to uphold plant safety standards for all employees.
- Ensure legal complianceQualifications:
- Strong leadership skills in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Key player in implementation of lean initiatives and change management
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in existing or comparable manufacturing industries, and a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role
- Grade 12 diploma (College Diploma preferred)
- Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
- Lean Six Sigma experience an asset
- Knowledge in the principles of Lean Manufacturing
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic individual with a proven track record of accountability and results
- Strong leader possessing a team orientated approach
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
