Child Care Toddler Classroom Assistant/Teacher Scribbles and Giggles Child Care

Scribbles & Giggles Child Care Learning Center is looking to expand their team with individuals that seek to have an impact on the lives of children offering opportunities to work in classrooms with Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers. We are looking for a teacher/caregiver for a Toddler Classroom. We are located off Saginaw Hwy and down the road from Sexton High School, in between downtown and the Lansing Mall.

Toddler Classroom: M-F 11:30am - 5:30pm OR M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications

• be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Show proof of a negative TB Test
• Complete a fingerprint background check (company paid)
• Have a positive, fun personality
• Ability to work well with others
• Have good communication skills
• Be physically capable to bend, sit, stand, etc. repetitively

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care and supervision of toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive atmosphere and addressing behavioral challenges.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to create engaging lesson plans and ensure a smooth classroom operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour
