Job Summary
Primary Responsibilities :
Hands-on development using Docker / Linux hosted Java RESTful and SOAP-based Webservices and Microservices using Tomcat / WebLogic (J2EE), Linux, Oracle database, Oracle EBS transactional dataPost-production issue triage and troubleshooting and apply fixesWork with Business Analysts and business users to understand and analyze business requirements and put together process-to-process System Design Documents (SDD) and Technical Design Documents (TDD) and provide walkthroughs to wider technical development teams.Collaborate with the onshore and offshore technical teams and participate in cross-team brainstorming and process solutions design sessions.Take ownership of the overall delivery of mid-tier Java-based service deployments and post-release production support activities.Continuous communication with cross-functional business operation teams, SMEs, Stakeholders, and periodic reporting to the management.Qualifications :
4-year college degree, preferably in STEM.Maximum of 10 years of experience in software development in the information technology stream6 years of hands-on experience in Java / J2EE and Spring Boot (Spring Framework) for developing applications development with in-depth knowledge in efficiently implementing complex business logic with RESTFul and SOAP (XML) based data-driven Java mid-tier Web services and Microservices in Tomcat and / or WebLogic J2EE environment and Oracle database.4 years of experience deploying and maintaining Java-based mid-tier services in Docker & Linux environments, including creating and maintaining Docker Containers, service deployments, Docker environment performance tuning, Docker multi-port request distributions, managing yml files and Docker configurations.Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, code version control using SVN or GitHub, and Agile / Scrum methodologies in a fast-track development environment.In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, system design and architecture, JVM internals and configurations, web technologies, Java testing tools, JUnit testing, java code debugging (log4J), web application frameworks, and Java GUI frameworks. Familiarity with popular Unit testing and Mock libraries is an advantage.Advantages
Experience in web application design and development using UI Angular framework and JavaScriptDevelopment experience using Oracle EBS (Oracle Applications) transaction data and a basic understanding of Oracle EBS-backed tables and data relationshipsAbility to write SQL queries using Oracle database and understanding of Oracle database objects like Tables, Views, Indexes, etc.Development experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware using SOA / BPEL.Soft Skills
