We are currently looking for a skilled Healthcare Documentation Clerk to join our team at Scribe.ology.
Job Summary
This position involves working closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to accurately record and document patient visits and procedures. You will create and review medical charts for accuracy and completion, assist in completing charts by transcribing results of patient and doctor consultations, and perform other duties as assigned by the practice manager or physician.
Responsibilities
- Accompany physicians to record and document patient visits and procedures
- Create and review medical charts for accuracy and completion
- Assist in completing charts by transcribing results of patient and doctor consultations
- Record diagnosis, discharge, prescriptions, and/or follow-up instructions
Requirements
- Possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy/physiology
- Have excellent typing skills, with a minimum of 40 WPM
- Demonstrate ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment
