We seek a strategic and results-oriented Sr. Director of Operations, Publishing, to lead and manage our core operations. The focus will be on day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, collaboration, and continued profitability.
Sr. Operations Director, Publishing Executive / Administrative
The Sr. Director of Operations, Publishing leads and manages the core operations. This role will ensure the efficiency, collaboration, and profitability of day-to-day publishing processes across all platforms.
This is a full-time, remote position. However, this role also serves as a member of the Steering Committee, which meets periodically throughout the year in various locations. Some travel will be required.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with the CEO / President and Steering Committee to develop comprehensive business plans and budgets that achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Oversee Content, Design, Editorial, Production, and Project Management teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Finance, and People teams to implement strategies for growth and efficiency.
- Serve as an advisor to internal teams and clients when challenges arise, ensuring mutually beneficial solutions.
- Continuously improve internal processes to enhance productivity and streamline workflows across departments.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage and evaluate team performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to department Directors, helping them strengthen specific knowledge and skills.
- Establish clear performance goals to foster a collaborative culture.
- Act as the lead or co-lead on ad-hoc committees related to operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Support the President / CEO with strategic initiatives, operational insights, and decision-making.
- Act as the President / CEO's stand-in during their temporary absences, ensuring continuity in leadership and operations.

Salary
110K-$150K annually
Status
