Description
ScribeNest is a local, doctor operated company with particular focus on taking care of scribes. We provide an essential medical service while helping you one day be a better doctor, nurse or PA through our unique training and mentoring.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Get a head start in medical school or nursing school through first hand patient/doctor interactions
- Shadow and learn medicine from an ER Physician
- Learn to document all elements of the physician and patient encounter
- Gain invaluable experience from working shoulder to shoulder with ER Docs
- Learn and retain medical terminology
- Comply with PHI laws (HIPAA/HITECH) in addition to local facility department policies and procedures
- Perform non-clinical tasks specific to each facility as directed by Physician and Chief Scribe

Full Time / Part Time Expectations:
- Part Time (PT): 9-11 shifts per month including occasional overnight shifts. Equates to 2-3 shifts per week.
- Full Time (FT): 16-20 shifts per month including occasional overnight shifts. Equates to 4-5 shifts per week.
- Shift lengths vary 8-10 hours based on facility / hospital
- We do not offer seasonal positions.
Qualifications
Education Requirements: High School Diploma / GED
Qualifications: Proficient typing, concise communication
Working Environment: work is performed in hospitals, emergency departments.
Working Conditions: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, moving.
Salary : $14
