This a Full Time with Benefits 8-hour days position (80 hours per pay period) Mon-Fri position.

Join Scripps as a Registered Nurse - Radiation Oncology at our new radiation therapy department at the Prebys Cancer Center. In this role you will assist the physicians during procedures that include IV's and Brachytherapy treatments. You will see weekly visits, consults and follow ups. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress during and after treatments. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
- 1 year experience.
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Required Certification//Education/Registration:
- Current CA RN License.
- Current BLS through American Heart Association.
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Radiation therapy and/or oncology experience.
Bachelor's degree in nursing
