What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Development Engineer in Test position at Script Care LTD?
We're building our QA function from the ground up and are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to help us lay the foundation. If you're hands-on, pragmatic, and passionate about quality, this is a chance to have a real impact from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement automated test suites using Cypress or Playwright in TypeScript
- Define and establish testing best practices, tools, and processes across teams
- Work closely with developers to identify test coverage needs and improve product reliability
- Set up the groundwork for scalable, maintainable, and fast automation workflows
What You Bring
- Solid experience with test automation frameworks Test, Data and Business Driven Development models with test automation tools (Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript
- Good understanding of testing principles, strategies, and software quality fundamentals
- Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to take ownership
Nice to Have
- Exposure to performance testing or other advanced QA techniques
- Experience with relational databases and tools (DBeaver)
- Working knowledge of Postman
- Curiosity for new testing tools and trends
