Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team to take care of commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both employees and visitors.
NOTE: Applicant must have janitorial or housekeeping experience to be considered. Applicant must also have a reliable vehicle to use for work. Applicants without these are automatically rejected.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, hospitals, churches, and common spaces.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, including desks, countertops, and equipment.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude towards work.
- Must have a vehicle or means of transportation to service locations.
