Position Summary
We’re looking for a hardworking and safety-minded Industrial Services Technician to join our field team. This is a hands-on role performing industrial service work at project sites — ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working outdoors, and being part of a team. You’ll support operations that include jetting, power washing, material handling, confined space cleaning, and general field labor, all while gaining valuable experience in the environmental services field.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform industrial cleaning and maintenance tasks such as jettiong, pressure washing, material movement, and confined space entry.
- Safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery under supervision.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites, equipment, and materials.
- Work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in the field and in vehicles/equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding task status and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Prior industrial, construction, or field labor experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, standing, working outdoors, confined spaces).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn how to operate equipment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
- HAZWOPER and confined space certifications are preferred. If you don’t have them yet, SCS will provide training and cover the cost of certification.
