JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Manager to develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance and control systems from the ground up. This role is critical in establishing processes that meet industry standards, enhance product reliability, and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations.
SCOPE
· Design and implement a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) tailored to precision manufacturing.
· Establish quality standards, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations.
· Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of materials, processes, and finished products, including outsourced manufactured product, to maintain high standards.
· Identify and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
· Provide training and guidance to team members on quality processes and best practices.
· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to integrate quality into every stage of manufacturing.
· Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Maintain records and prepare reports for internal use and customer audits.
· Preparation and execution of quality control plans, including the review of specifications, tolerances, capabilities and preparation of necessary supporting documentation and justification.
· Lead containment activities when reactive issues arise and ensure all customer issues (CAPA’s, etc.) are addressed, filed, and documented in a timely manner.
· Encourage a continuous improvement culture including lean manufacturing implementations.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 3 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in precision manufacturing.
· Proven track record of building or improving quality systems in a small-to-medium-sized company.
· Strong knowledge of quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, PPAP) and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and lead projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication skills to train staff and collaborate across teams.
· Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, CMM) is a plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
