Repair Technician Job Description
Scuf Gaming is the official controller partner of major gaming leagues, including CWL, MLG, ESL, UMG, Gfinity, and EGL. Position Summary
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems in XBOX and Play Station controllers so they function as intended.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Attention to detail.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Understands the theory and operation of all supported products.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair to component level on all supported products.
• Full understanding of circuit boards/PCB and detailed soldering - certification not required but desired.
• Must know how to solder (1 year of experience desired) and pass solder test.
• Organizes and maintains assigned tools, test equipment, and work areas.
• Understanding of testing Methods for our products.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Understanding of IPC standards
• Interfaces with co-workers, other management, and other department heads on issues that concern or affect them
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact professionally and courteously with management and other personnel
• Ability to work independently to solve problems related to the repair of all supported products.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from location.
• Willingness to work weekends and long hours if necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
Other requirements
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
• Push, Pull, Lift 30 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Knowledge of hand tools.
• Experience playing PS and XBOX games desired.
• Must be able to speak and understand English

This position is a full-time position, with work hours Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Must be available for overtime and Saturdays as required.
