Scuola Vita Nuova Charter School is seeking a highly effective, enthusiastic, hard-working Middle School (7th -8th) Math Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop curriculum aligned with the Common Core State Standards
- Design assessments and use data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices
- Collaborate with teammates to promote an environment of critical thinking and academic rigor
- Choose and implement appropriate methodology and varied instructional strategies that address the diversity of learners
- Effectively manage student behaviors while maintaining a positive learning environment
- Embrace feedback and constructive criticism to foster constant improvement
- Demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and a strong work ethic inside and outside the classroom
