Job Brief
We are looking for highly energetic, TS-SCI cleared, IT professionals who are interested in joining our seasoned team of technologists. We are focused on driving significant enhancements in the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise-wide IT operations and performing routine O&M for an IC agency. The program itself supports a broad range of IT enterprise services for end-users around the globe, with smaller project teams that focus on particular areas (i.e. Platform as a Service, Application Services, Cloud Computing, High Performance Computing, API Management, etc.). We are looking for hands-on professionals, team players, and engaged individuals who enjoy keeping up with the latest tech stacks and technology trends. Specific Duties and Responsibilities :
Automate and optimize service deploymentsIntegrate with enterprise authentication servicesEstablish and improve system monitoring while maintaining established security protocols within development, test, and production systemsArchitect, build and maintain on premise and / or cloud infrastructure to support team and customer initiativesMaintain and improve existing infrastructureAdminister production, staging and development environmentsManage and aggregate server logs and monitor for security and system-related incidentsMonitor and analyze system performance, such as server load and resource usageMaintain and improve existing build and deployment processes using CI / CD toolsApply configuration management disciplines to maintain software revisions, security patches, hardening, and documentationEnforce best practices for security and reliability, and drive security initiativesWork with A&A Teams to maintain security requirements for operation of systemsMaintain up to date documentation of designs / configurationsMaintain status of operations at all timesCreate and determine required metrics for dashboards and service healthManage operational readiness board and present at weekly meetingsTrack and ensure routine operations maintenance tasks are completed in a timely mannerAlign to customer's strategiesUtilize the customer's enterprise DevSecOps pipelineWork with other service providers to support areas of common interestOn-call support may be requiredRequired Qualifications and Skills :
8 years of experience in a related field3 years of related systems programming experienceExperience maintaining an operational environment and use of monitoring tools and dashboard interfacesExperience working with container images and platformsStrong understanding of DevOps and software / application development processesUnderstanding of GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and other DevOps / Continuous Integration tools for KubernetesUnderstanding of microservice design and architectural pattern best practicesUnderstanding of Python, Bash, and Shell scriptingKnowledge of network technologies, common infrastructure components, load balancers, firewalls, virtual and physical infrastructure designStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent time management skills and the drive to work unsupervisedExperience with deploying to on-prem / data center infrastructureExperience using Jira and Confluence on a daily basisActive TS / SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI polyDesired Qualifications and Skills :
Experience in building processes for deploying to a Kubernetes-based environment using GitLab and HelmUnderstanding of access management and security groupsAbility to write and use unit and functional testingCompensation : 186,000 per year
