Overview
A San Diego-based commercial real estate management, investment, and development company seeks a motivated Property Manager Assistant/Administrative Assistant.
As the Property Manager Assistant/Administrative Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our team of Property Managers as it relates to their portfolio of industrial, office, multi-family, and retail properties located throughout the country.
The ideal candidate will have a background in either administrative support, property management support, or even onsite property management experience. This role is essential in maintaining the overall quality of our properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform general office tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
- Practice professional telephone etiquette when answering the corporate office main line and direct calls accordingly.
- Contribute to the preparation of documents related to commercial and residential leasing.
- Collaborate with on-site employees and vendors to facilitate ongoing maintenance requests, projects, and property renovations.
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants and vendors through effective communication via phone calls, emails, letters, and memos.
- Process property accounts payable invoices for processing.
- Prepare and review tenant billings to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with processing tenant move-in and move-out documentation.
- Collect bids for repairs and/or projects as needed.
- Assist the Property Managers as needed by demonstrating good verbal and written communication skills and understanding company goals, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrating high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of meeting deadlines with a sense of urgency to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- College degree or experience in property management preferred.
- Proficient in AppFolio software not required, but a major plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
