This critical role will develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensure compliance with all applicable laws, and foster a safe and productive work environment. This role requires regular presence on the plant floor, working closely with the Plant Manager and Supervisors to ensure a safe and efficient manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR roadmap, driving best practices across all HR generalist functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies, create compelling job descriptions, manage the recruitment process, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- HR Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including E-Verify, I-9, HIPAA and DOL guidelines and regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Supervisors to develop, implement, and maintain safety training programs, ensure OSHA compliance, and promote a culture of workplace safety through ongoing training and support.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from candidate selection to post-exit, ensuring a positive and consistent experience at every stage.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR and Safety efficiency and effectiveness.
- Employee Life Cycle: Develop and implement an employee life cycle strategy ensuring a positive and consistent experience from recruitment all the way through post-exit.
- Culture & Engagement: Strong focus on people & culture, including recognition and reward programs, team events and open communication.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor addressing concerns and fostering a positive, engaged workforce.
Other Skills & Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field required.
· HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP or SCP required.
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting as a solo practitioner or part of a small team.
- Proven ability to implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels.
- Experience managing multiple HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and performance management.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize and maintain accurate records.
- Bilingual in Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Comfortable working within a manufacturing plant environment.
Environmental
· Ability to sit at a computer for 8 hours or more per day
· Ability to travel locally up to 10% of the time as needed
· Ability to work in an onsite environment
