As an ARPA-H Conference Events Planner, you will play a crucial role in planning and managing Conferences and Events to support groundbreaking projects that have the potential to transform healthcare and save lives.
SD Solutions is seeking a capable and experienced Conference / Events Planner for large event planning, special event planning support and execution, to include, but not limited to, technical conferences, strategic off-site events, executive meetings, technology demonstrations, and showcase events is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- 3 years of experience with conference and event planning.
- Experience with coordinating, planning, and facilitating virtual and in-person meetings and events.
- Experience supporting executive-level personnel and working in an R&D environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with event strategy and ability to design and execute impactful experiences.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Knowledge of video and audio-conferencing equipment.
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments and teams to meet objectives.
- Experience in developing and implementing communications strategies.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently with minimal guidance.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels and take complex subjects and make them easily understandable.
- Ability to coordinate multiple events concurrently.
- Ability to multi-task and pay strict attention to details.
- Certified Government Meeting Professional Certification is a plus.
- Prefer experience supporting DARPA or related Federal "ARPA" agencies (IARPA, ARPA-E, ARPA-H, HSARPA).
- Alternate preferable experience at NIH, CDC, FDA, Public Health Service, NSF, or USDA.

U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
