Position Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of business development, working closely with our Business Development Manager / Director to support growth initiatives, market research, and strategic outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn about the processes that drive business expansion and client relationship. It is a part-time, internship position with potential to grow into full-time employment role. We can work with the candidate's school for an official internship designation if requested. The position is remote.
Job Responsibilities :
- Market Research and Analysis : Assist in conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities. Compile and analyze data to help refine business development strategies.
- Proposal and Presentation Support : Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other materials for client meetings. Help ensure materials are tailored to client needs and aligned with company capabilities.
- Lead Generation : Support the identification and qualification of new leads by researching prospective clients, attending industry events, and utilizing business databases. Help maintain a database of potential clients and partners.
- Client Relationship Management : Provide support to the Business Development team in nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients. Help track communication and follow-up activities.
- Administrative Support : Organize and manage documents, contracts, and project files. Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating event logistics, and preparing reports for the team.
- Industry Event Support : Assist in organizing and attending industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings, gaining exposure to key stakeholders and industry professionals.
