Opportunity Overview

SD Solutions seeks a Data and Research Analyst Intern which is a paid internship position to join our team to support the research, analysis on existing and new business initiatives. Ideally the candidate will be currently attending college or university and may be able to apply this position toward their college career and / or gain valuable experience for their future professional career. The position is part-time only but could become full-time permanent for the right person. We are searching for a motivated, self-starting individual who is technology savvy and can dig into a problem to uncover hidden data we can use for business intelligence. The right candidate will have excellent computer skills, excellent communication skills, and the drive and determination to perform extensive research to meet business needs.

Job Responsibilities :

• Support Sales and Business Development Department by performing research on new or existing business opportunities
• Help with designing and developing dashboard and visualizations using tools.
• Perform research and analysis by visiting multiple sites and data sources to extract useful data
• Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
• Access multiple databases, public and private, in order to assemble various data into reports
• Maintain weekly / monthly / annual reporting
• Provide support for standardization and utilization of data collection, reporting and analysis
• Quantify business intelligence with models to evaluate new opportunities and present findings clearly and make recommendations for action
• Assist with core business development activities, such as generating capture decks, reports and communicating with potential partners and competitors to better understand client needs
• Seek out new market insights and business opportunities through research and analysis.
