Opportunity Overview
SD Solutions seeks a Real Property Portfolio Manager to join our team and assist the Lead Portfolio Manager for the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) Lease Administration team which serves as the primary function of data population and data quality in the client's RPMS (Real Property Management System) related to the GSA (General Services Administration) Leased Facilities Portfolio. This position is open for teleworking but must be reasonably within the Washington DC area.
Responsibilities
- Support the Portfolio Management Lead.
- Assist in developing the 5-Year real property facility investment plan for DHS.
- Budget, review and analysis, reporting and briefing.
- Support the portfolio strategy function and project execution staff with data collection, analysis and reporting support, including support for government project prioritization, appropriate system for prioritization, such as mission criticality index, facility condition index, collocation and consolidation opportunities, and other measures relating to DHS goals, strategic goals and federal mandates.
- Support portfolio level strategic, ad-hoc and robotics automation initiative to improve organization efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide support to identify and maintain robotics automation processes.
- Support the Lease Administration team which serves as the primary function of data population and data quality in DHS related to the GSA Leased facility portfolio.
- Compile and analyze data and prepare reports for government review and submission.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the field of either engineering, architecture, business, or a related area.
- Preference given to those who possess a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent institution, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, an Architectural Registration (license), or other real property management certifications such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
- Five (5) years of experience managing portfolios or programs/projects similar to DHS.
- Three to five (3-5) years of federal real property, assets, or facilities management experience is preferred.
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in managing programs with complex facility projects, budgets, and processes is preferred.
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools.
- Familiarity with related computer programs such as a RPMS (Real Property Management System) used to track real property.
