Opportunity Overview
SD Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to join our Proposal Team. The ideal candidate for this position will bring a proven track record of successfully managing new business opportunities from capture to solicitation to submission. The Proposal Writer will focus on a full range of proposal activities from pre-RFP preparation, strategy, and win theme development through writing and submitting winning proposals. Working closely with other internal stakeholders, this role will lead proposal management and proposal writing. The ideal candidate must have knowledge and experience in federal contracting, as well as perform the following tasks :
- Lead strategic, corporate priority proposals, develop initial approaches, incorporate past performance
- Set schedules, lead efforts, guide writing, creating compliant and compelling proposals.
- Tailor resumes and past performance narratives
- Have experience in developing tables and graphics in PowerPoint and / or Adobe Illustrator
- Coordinate receipt of past performance questionnaires or other data calls
- Assist in managing our SharePoint-based proposal management system
- Take ownership of proposals from concept to submission and archival
- Independently respond to RFIs and Sources Sought Notices based on knowledge base and minimal inputs
- Develop compliance matrices and manage data calls
