Requirements :
SD Solutions seeks a part-time Software Development Intern to join our team to support the development of software applications related to cybersecurity and emerging tech. Ideally the candidate will be currently attending college or university and may be able to apply this position toward their college career and / or gain valuable experience for their future professional career. The position is part-time only but could become full-time permanent for the right person. We are searching for a motivated, self-starting individual who is technology savvy and can work as part of a team, particularly in an Agile / Scrum environment. The right candidate will also have excellent computer skills, communication skills, and critical thinking skills.
- Must be a Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university program in Computer Science
- Must have experience writing code in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Must have experience developing software as part of a team in an Agile / Scrum environment, either as part of coursework, from prior employment, or from other projects
- Must be familiar with object-oriented programming and design.
- Must have experience using Git.
- Must have experience with SQL.
- Must be familiar with coding best practices.
- Must be familiar with Agile software development practices.
- Must be familiar with shell scripting languages such as bash or PowerShell
- Must be familiar with computer networking and networking protocols like DNS and HTTP
- Must be familiar with the Spring Framework
- Must be familiar with ReactJS
- Must be familiar with Maven
