Job Description
The Web Developer I is responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites--from layout to function--according to the project's specifications. Create visually appealing pages that feature user-friendly design as well as clear navigation based on mockups for mobile and desktop while following proper coding structure and implementing efficient code using company standards.

Job Duties
- Create web applications that are cross-browser compatible
- Stay up-to-date on current and emerging technologies, standards, and trends
- Write well designed, testable, and efficient code by using best software development practices
- Learn through research
- Follow our internal processes for web projects
- Write code to follow security principles, eliminating backdoors to prevent sql injection, and other attacks
- Work with team members to complete assigned tasks
- Responsible for following standard of work
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Handle minor and moderate bug fixes
- Review through code and look for potential issues and improvements
- Assisting other web developers as needed
- Complete tasks with moderate project assistance from other team members
- Other duties as assigned.

- Understands and follows coding standards
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree
- Associates Degree, preferred
Experience
- up to 1 year of programming experience in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, MySQL, and CSS
- Code samples / portfolio projects to demonstrate competency in various languages
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
