We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Supervisor (CS) to join our team and oversee cleaning activities across multiple locations in Georgia. The CS will be responsible for directing cleaning staff, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining efficient operations at the IRS Annex in Chamblee, with additional responsibilities for satellite locations in Columbus, Athens, and Gainesville.
Responsibilities:
- Chamblee (Primary Location):
- Directly supervise a team of janitorial staff in performing daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules for the IRS Annex, ensuring all areas are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to monitor cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor new custodial staff on cleaning procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Schedule and manage janitorial staff tasks and workloads.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff performance evaluations, and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
- Address any concerns raised by occupants regarding cleanliness or maintenance issues.
- Satellite Locations (Columbus, Athens, Gainesville):
- Conduct monthly visits to each satellite location.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met.
- Provide on-site training and development for custodial staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.
- Review inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Property Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Custodial Supervisor or Lead Janitor.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team.
- Strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in record-keeping and inventory management.
- Adherence to safety protocols and regulations is essential.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to travel to Columbus, Athens, and Gainesville on a monthly basis is required.
