Enjoy great benefits, state retirement plans, generous leave packages, including 11 paid holidays and regular hours.Job Responsibilities: Provide carpentry services to assist in the on-going maintenance of campus/local agricultural buildings and for remodel and renovation projects.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of:Experience in a variety of carpenter specialties, including framing & sheetrock, flooring, trim, windows, doors, roofing (metal or shingles), custom building repairs, and renovations/remodel projects.Safe working practicesSkill & Ability to:Work with various types of power and hand toolsRead construction drawings and technical information.Demonstrate problem-solving skills.Collaborate as a contributing member in a team environment.Demonstrate a willingness to learn new things.Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work from heights (ladders, scaffolding, lift equipment)Work outside in extreme weather conditionsRequired License: Valid driver’s license is required.Comments: Position is classified as a Senior Building Maintenance Worker.
