Job Coach openings at The SD School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. This is an as needed position that reports to the Superintendent.Primary Responsibilities:• Provide assistance to individual students in the employment setting• Aide in the evaluation of student progress• Maintain discipline by keeping students on task• Collaborate with SDSBVI On Campus or Off Campus/Project Skills Program supervisor• Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students needsQualifications:• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate various jobs• Valid driver’s license• Good communication skills• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferredIncumbent will be required to undergo a background investigation before employment begins. An arrest/conviction record will not necessarily bar employment.Incumbent will be required to provide documentation of MMR vaccination.
