Position Summary
A highly organized and detail-oriented production planner to manage the production and dispensing schedule to maintain inventory levels of core products and meet customer expected ship dates. Work with global sales to determine optimal safety stock of key products. Works with the Production Manager to monitor the production flow and immediately communicates any delays to the key stakeholders. Works with Supply Chain coordinator to ensure optimal delivery of raw materials for production requirements. Able to multitask and manage priorities in a face-paced environment to ensure the timely completion of production targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze and determine production requirements based on sales forecasts and customer orders.
- Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels.
- Coordinate and adjust production schedules to meet product delivery deadlines.
- Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage and communication issues to Supply Chain.
- Identify and address production issues, delays, or problems promptly.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse staff to ensure smooth flow of operations.
- Prepare production reports and keep management informed about production status.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including volume, types, and quality of products.
- Review and suggest improvements to production processes and systems.
- Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory.
- Address issues regarding quality and production.
- Produce reports based on findings and performance of production.
- Manage deadlines based on project expectations.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply chain management, or a relevant field.
- 5 years of experience in production planning with prior chemical industry experience or similar industry.
- Experience with MRP systems (Manufacturing resource planning).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong regard for product quality and safety standards.
- Good understanding of the industry market trends and conditions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- APICS Certifications or equivalent preferred but not required.
Salary : $74,000 - $92,000
