Click here for the hourly pay rate.Bargaining Unit : AFT - NANCERange : No ResponseDepartment : District WideThe PositionThe Instructional Lab Technician assists in the instructional program by performing complex technical work in an instructional laboratory environment for a highly technical and complex vocational or academic subject area.Major ResponsibilitiesFUNCTION : Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist in the instructional program by performing complex technical work in an instructional laboratory environment for a highly technical and complex vocational or academic subject area such as physical or life science, computer science, electronics, media production, animal health, or auto mechanics.QualificationsREQUISITE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES INCLUDE : Desirable qualifications are dependent on the specific option (physical or life science, computer science, electronics, media production, animal health, or auto mechanics) to which assigned and vary depending on assignment. Any combination of training and experience equivalent to satisfactory completion of 15 semester units of courses related to the field of specialty and at least one year of successful work experience in the field of specialty. Experience in an instructional setting is desirable. Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
