What are the responsibilities and job description for the Charcuterie Bar Cook/Bar Back position at SDCM?
Vin De Syrah is currently seeking a Charcuterie Bar Cook/Bar Back.
The Charcuterie Bar Cook will be in the main dining room interacting with guests and preparing charcuterie boards/menu items as ordered. You will be expected to prepare necessary food items for the meal period and future service as well as monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas. This is a Wednesday-Sunday full-time position.

Qualifications
- Previous culinary training preferred
- Current CA Food Handlers Card
- Ability to maintain complete knowledge of all cooking techniques which are requiredto prepare restaurant menu items.
- Ability to maintain complete knowledge of all menu and special items, theirpreparation method/time, all ingredients and quality standards, taste, appearance,texture, temperature, garnish, and method of presentation.
- Ability to maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of foodserving and preparation equipment.
Essential Job Functions
- Communicate with all Guests regarding charcuterie bar products
- Prepare necessary food items for meal period and next service.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station andservice areas.
- Cook for scheduled meal period.
- Complete opening/closing duties as assigned
- Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
- Prolonged periods of standing, moving through an event space and a kitchen
- Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 50 lbs
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Availability for weekend and evening hours
- Rotates products according to a First in First Out standards; ensuring all products arewithin expiration code and of the highest quality
- Ensures all product is presented properly
- Perform light cleaning duties breaking down and cleaning your station and backstation
