Title: Network Engineer
Location: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Long term contract
W-2 only
Job Profile Summary
- Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience
- The person in this position will be responsible for providing networking and software licensing and quotes/renewals.
- Networking/IT concepts (routers, switches, cabling, rack hardware, etc.)
- Technical communication with Management, Vendors, and Systems Engineers
- Technical writing/documentation using MS Office (Specifically Word and Excel) and Visio
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (specifically Word, Excel and Visio), Networking/IT concepts;
- excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Technical individual with the required knowledge plus an A Certification (or equivalent/higher).
- Ability to communicate on a technical level with management, vendors, and systems engineers.
- Ability to work individually and within a group/team.
- Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical people.
- Provide/obtain technical quotes.
- Create/maintain spreadsheets and technical documentation on a monthly basis.
