CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIST

Your Role

The Creative Technologist role is critical to our business. IBM Quantum engages audiences via a number of nontraditional and interactive marketing media. Your proficiency in creative and technical execution will be instrumental in building first in class experiences for our current and future clients to understand the potential for this world-changing technology.

Primary Responsibilities

• Alongside both the Head of Product Design and Head of Brand, lead executions of interactive experiences such as web platforms, event activations and displays, scientific and software demonstrations, and emerging media, to satisfy the goals and constraints of a number of diverse briefs.
• Scoping of timelines, outside expertise and material resources necessary to execute projects.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee software / hardware integration.
• Work hands-on to develop prototypes and applications, and troubleshoot those deliverables during development.
• Clearly and consistently communicate with project stakeholders, assuring that all parties receive work needed to move projects forward quickly.
• Maintain fluency of the state-of-the-art in VR, AR, AI, IoT, and other emerging technologies.
• Consult with the brand and product team regarding technical feasibility and requirements of creative executions.
• Author the back end software and user experience for prototypes, and refine those prototypes into public-facing experiences.
